Polyphonix, a retrospective catalog of the first forty Polyphonix festivals, with full details on each occasion and a set of artworks shown for the retrospective. The book was edited by Jean-Jacques Lebel and Jacqueline Cahen, assisted by Caroline Deseille, Jean-Pierre Sergent and Nara Pich. Co-published by Centre Pompidou and Editions Léo Scheer, and produced by the Editions Department of the Centre Pompidou on the occasion of Polyphonix 40 in 2002.
This includes a 44-track CD of spoken-word artists called Polyphonix Deuxième anthologie sonore.
This includes Gysin’s roller painting/collage “Plateau Beaubourg – Paris au clair de lune” (1974-75) at pages 28-29.
Gysin's New Years print “Big Gongs” is at page 102.
Gysin’s “Poets Stink” is included on the audio CD, track 21.
There are additionally multiple images of Brion Gysin throughout.
William S. Burroughs is also very well represented in this book and CD.
