A 9.25” x 6.5” flyer advertising “Concrete Poetry – a great phonetico/poetic evening with Bernard Heidsieck, François Dufrêne, Brion Gysin, Henri Chopin”. This event occurred on Saturday 23rd October 1965 at 8 p.m. at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in London, during the "Concrete Poetry: between Poetry and Painting" exhibition.
This copy was acquired from Jeff Maser, Bookseller (Berkeley, California, US). Another copy was sold through BeatBooks (London, England) in their catalogue #96.
In the archive there is also a copy of issue 151 of the ICA Bulletin, October 1965, in which a second copy of the poster/flyer is placed. This is next to a page on the Between Poetry and Painting exhibition that was occurring at the same time. No additional mentions of Gysin are in this issue of the ICA Bulletin.
